Too True to Be Good
By George Bernard Shaw
A glamorous pair of jewel thieves (Charles Busch and Marc Kudisch) convinces a chronic young convalescent (Kathy Brier) to steal her own jewels and run away with them to a tropical paradise. Her over-protective mother (Marylouise Burke) comes chasing after them and a riotous time is had by all. This is Shaw’s 1931 high-comedy journey which takes on fad diets, the medical profession, the military, war, religion, and sex. The extraordinary cast will also include Louis Zorich, Nick Wyman, John Windsor-Cunningham, Eric Grode and Michael Feingold. David Staller produces and directs the series, now in its third of four years.
